Our company culture is our strength and enables us to stand out.
It is built around four pillars:
Performance
Because we set ourselves ambitious goals and want to continue leading the field within a very competitive real estate market.
That is why our teams work with agility and innovation to offer an outstanding, personalized experience for our 100,000 clients and end users.
Sense of service
Because we want to ensure that we are closely aligned with our clients’ expectations.
In a real estate market that is transforming, we have chosen to position the human aspect as a core focus by creating a relationship brand, YouFirst, covering everyone who lives (YouFirst Residence), works (YouFirst Bureau) or studies (YouFirst Campus) in our living spaces.
Collective spirit
Because we promote an environment in which our talents benefit and support one another.
Our policy recognizes the value of teamwork, sharing and transversality. It encourages individual and collective performance supporting a sustainable city.
Responsability
Because we have confidence and trust in our teams.
Our employees benefit from real independence in their work and are always ready to take the initiative with a view to achieving our shared goals.
Life at Gecina
We offer a fulfilling workplace environment that enables each individual to grow and develop. We put everything in place to ensure genuine wellbeing at work.
Modern and connected headquarters
Located at the heart of the Opéra neighborhood in Paris, our offices are the first illustration of the experience that we offer our clients: bright open spaces, collaborative spaces, individual spaces, landscaped terraces and gardens... Our employees benefit from the many different services available through the YouFirst Bureau mobile app, which makes life easier at work: badge, connected concierge, package delivery, room bookings...
Solidarity contribution
Our values of being open and helping one another are set out through our Company Foundation, which, since 2008, has been supporting stakeholders working to support people with disabilities, protect the environment, safeguard historic heritage and facilitate access to housing for all. Our employees contribute to this “culture of solidarity” by proposing non-profit organizations to be supported and by mentoring them. 85% of them say that they appreciate Gecina’s solidarity contributions and CSR approach. This social and environmental commitment is a source of motivation for our teams and a driving force behind Gecina’s performance.
Outstanding real estate portfolio
We are proud to manage a portfolio that is located at the heart of the city, with iconic addresses such as 10-12 Place Vendôme, remodeled for Maison Chaumet, or the historic building at 35 boulevard des Capucines, currently under renovation, once the studio of French photographer Félix Nadar during the 19th century. We work with renowned architects, such as Philippe Chiambaretta, Jean-Michel Wilmotte, Jean-Paul Viguier and Jean Nouvel, who help us renovate this exceptional portfolio in line with the best environmental standards.
Award-winning projects
L1ve, our iconic building in Paris’ 8th arrondissement designed by Baumschlager Eberle Architekten, won the MIPIM Award in the Best Futura Project category in 2020. This award recognizes the most innovative projects in terms of architecture, sustainability and integration within their environment.
The Paris Nation residence, designed with Mars Architectes, received the Équerre d’Argent award from Le Moniteur and AMC Architecture, in the “Residential” category, in 2021. This award highlights the commitment by architects and project managers to develop quality housing in France, particularly faced with complex economic, technical and regulatory contexts.
